A few things to know.
Will it work on my course website?
Kokoro reads selectable text on many webpages. Some restricted pages and scanned documents cannot be read. Try it on the pages you actually use during your free trial.
Does my page leave my computer?
Speech runs on your computer after the voice model downloads. When you ask for an explanation or a quiz, the relevant page text and conversation are sent for AI processing. Included AI passes through our server to our AI provider. With a personal key, it connects directly to the provider. Our privacy policy explains what is sent.
Will the trial charge me automatically?
No. The trial does not require a card. After seven days, you can explicitly choose a paid plan through secure checkout. That subscription renews until canceled.
Can I cancel or reinstall?
Yes. Manage or cancel your subscription from your account. Reinstall the extension and sign in to restore access. Reinstalling does not restart the seven-day trial.
Is the AI always right?
No. Treat AI explanations and quiz answers as study aids. Check important details against your course material. The tutor is designed for adults and has optional casual language and profanity settings.
